DISABLED ACCESS
Access Audits

Access Audits of buildings are not a statutory requirement, but they are identified in the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) Code of Practice as performing a good practice role for those seeking to fulfil their duties to make services accessible to disabled people under the DDA.

The Droveway Access Audit will identify where physical alterations are necessary or desirable by comparison of the building to current new buildings design standards.

Use the links on the left of the page to read our technical guide on Access Audits, or to view a sample Access Audit report. Both are in pdf format.
